Doctoral training

The doctoral training proposed by the ICTDC includes 300 hours of education i.e the equivalent of 30 credits (1=10 hours of courses). The training includes three different types of trainings.

• Fundamental training 100 h (10 credits)
• Seminars of specialization and openess100 h (10 credits)
• Seminars of professionalintegration100 h (10 credits)

• • Fundamental training

     

    The fundamental training is structured in the form of 3 courses of fundamental training with a campus based timetable of 25 hours for every course. These theoretical courses are chosen by the PhDstudents in a list of 20 basic and advanced courses. They are programmed in two periods depending on the necessary pre-requisites and are about the tools of modeling, analysis, synthesis, optimization and simulation.

• • Seminars of specialization and openness

     

    These seminars are about the advanced techniques and new approaches or technologies. They are directly related to the thesis subjects proposed by every research structure. During his doctoral studies, every PhD student should validate 5 seminars, with 15 hours for every seminar, the total represents then 25% of the training (75 hours).

    These seminars prepare the PhD student to the professional life allowing the acquisition of transversal skills relating to linguistic aspects of research methodology and educational pedagogy. During his doctoral studies, every PhD student should validate 5 seminars, with 15 hours for every seminar, the total represents then 25% of the training (75 hours).
