PhD in ICT
The ICT Doctorate degree proposed by the ICT doctoral school (ICTDC) in the High School of Communications of Tunis (Sup’Com) concerns doctoral studies in ICT and covers varied but complementary themes: Multimedia, Telecommunications Networks, Security, Digital Communication Systems, Radio-communication, Embedded Systems.
It consists of teaching PhD students excellent technical and pedagogical skills. During these last years, the ICTDC had a considerable reflection which led to a reorganization of its studies in order to allow students construct a coherent educational pathway enabling them acquire the skills of a researcher and the qualities of a leader, entrepreneur and innovator.
A particular interest will be attached to the professional integration in order to facilitate the induction of doctors issued from this training in the industrial world.
We should also mention that our future doctors will take profit from the proximity of our establishment to the different enterprises working in the ICT field and settled in the technological park of Elgazala.
Until the start of the academic year 2012-2013, the candidates in a doctoral thesis should be holders of a research master. Currently, the PhD student registered in thesis, either he holds an old master or an engineering degree, must validate a doctoral training in the form of a set of courses and seminars in parallel with the doctoral thesis
The conducted statistics between 2000 and 2013 show an increase of the staffs of PhD students registered in 1st, 2nd and 3rd year of thesis.
