Biography


Lotfi Osman received his master's degree in Automatic from LILLE 1 University - Science and Technology, France in 1984 and his Ph.D. in Automatic and Computer Engineering in 1987 at the same University. In June 2013, he obtained the Habilitation Degree in Electronics and Microelectronics from the National Institute of Applied Sciences and Technology (INSAT) in Tunis, University of Carthage, Tunisia.
Between 1984 and 1987, he taught at the University Institute of Technology (IUT) of Le Havre, France as a Teaching Assistant. In 1987, he was appointed as an Associate Assistant in Automatic and Computer Engineering at the same institute, and in November 1988 he was recruited at Le Havre University as a lecturer in Electrical Engineering.
In November 1988, he was recruited at the Higher School of Post and Telecommunications of Tunis (ESPTT) as Assistant, and since February 1994 he is Assistant Professor in Electronics and RF circuits at the Higher School of Communication, Sup 'Com of Tunis.
From May 2005 to April 2008, he served as head of department of Electronics, Physics and Propagation at Sup'Com.
In 2005, he joined the Research Laboratory "High Frequency Electronic Circuits and Systems" at the Faculty of Sciences of Tunis, University of Tunis El Manar. His current research interests include RF circuits, antennas and modeling in microwave integrated circuits. He is also involved with experimental characterization and antenna measurement.
