Research Unit URISA :
The research unit in Satellite images and its applications, URISA, is composed of Sup’ Com professors, researchers and Higher Institutions’ students.
Thanks to its innovative topics and competent members, the URISA research areas deal with spatial images processing and analysis as well as optics and RADAR.
The URISA devotes researches to:
- The classification and indexation of satellite images which is about the neuronal classifications, classification by equations in the partial by-products and in the active outlines, “Bayesian’s” classifications, indexation of images in the spatial field and the indexation in compressed domain.
- The three-dimensional reconstruction concerns interferometer radar and the stereovision.
- The filtering of images applies to the multiplicative and additive noise filtering(speckle).
